Sørtinden/ South Peak

Brilliant weather today and we decided to climb another mountain. Sørtinden was our target 571 metres above sea level. Nice!!

When we started it was really misty and we could hardly see the path in front of us. Met a man who had just been at the top and he said it's really easy to get up there. 'Just keep to the path and you'll be fine' he said. Lol we lost the track for about 10min. The path got divided into two different directions. Well if we had been more sure about the direction to our destination we would have been just fine. Luckily we heard voices behind us from people who had found the right path and we just followed them :P

We found the path and got ourselves out of the cloudy mist. It got warm and sunny immediately and we managed to get to the top without any complications :p

At the top and it was really magical to just c the mist underneath us. Really nice!

And again we signed the book at the top. Quite nice to see so many of those landmarks of stone up there.

Hahahaha, it was really misty when we parked the car. Think it was only our car and another one when we first got there. Think we were too eager to start our hiking we totally forgot to find a better way of leaving the car..... When we got down we realised that our parking wasn't the best :p So happy we didn't meet anyone else down at the car park.

Ups...

Raudtinden/ (RedPeak)

I'm at home in Tromsø on holiday! Home sweet home!!! Can't explain how much I enjoy it! Even though the weather has not the best it's always nice to c my mum, my nan and my friends ♥

Last night the weather forecast announced sunshine and high temperature coming to the North of Norway today. After several days waking up to rain and a cloudy sky it was such a thrill to actually see a big shiny sun on blue sky this morning. Dealing with rain and clouds over a period left both me and mum feeling really tired but after considering our increasing energy we decided that hiking in the mountains was the perfect activity for us ☺ RAUDTINDEN! The mountain peak reaches 568 metres above sea level. Far from the tallest mountain in the area but a brilliant challenge for us.

After parking the car we followed a path next to a river leading us right up towards our destination peak.
We were not alone hiking in the mountains thus we passed loads of people on the way. (It's possible to see some people a bit ahead in this photo with mum on the path).

The rocks on this mountain has a shade of the colour red and for that reason we believe this mountain got the name which is directly translated from Norwegian to 'Red Peak' in English.

Not far now as we could see the top raising clearly ahead.

Finally!!!! We reached the top! :) After a hard walk in a steep terrain we were aloud to enjoy this fantastic view!!! It's just beautiful!

This view is over a small place called Kaldfjord which means cold fjord ;)

→Right is the view from the opposite side from where we came and underneath is where we climbed up. It's possible to see part of the city across the sea to the left.↓

When we had managed to reach the top it's compulsory to put our names and the date in the book at the top ;)

To the left is mum and in the far distance behind it's possible to see one of the tallest mountains surrounding our city. It's called Tromsdalstinden and it's 1238 metres over sea level and woohoooo me and mum have been there too (just had to tell) lol ;)

Well deserved shopping :)

Blogglisten
After having some 10hour long shifts I have treated myself to some shopping yesterday :) *big smile* I had Superman's graduation on my mind and that's a good enough excuse to buy a new dress. Popped in to H&M and BNGO! Two dresses, a belt and a hairband-flower. Lol the flower is so big it looks like I have an extra head when I wear it...but I like flowers and when I don't wear it it's nice decoration in my hair-accessorize shelf :p

Lol all I need now is a bow and some arrows and I can run into the woods and hunt with the other elves :D The lime green chiffon dress/tunic was only £7.99 and is really light and comfortable when clubbing in the summer, especially since it was warm and crowded inside some of the bars in Wine street last night :p I asked Superman what he thought about the dress and his response was: 'What dress? Ahh the peace of cloth!' Hehe, I can see his point because to make the most out of it I could only wear a bikini for a bra and it is fairly short as well.

I fell in love with the black belt (£7.99) which goes with both the dresses.

This silky zebra-patterned dress was £24.50 The giga-size flower (£2.50 at H&M)and the golden bracelet (£2 at Primark).

Lol, had a cramp in my foot and it seemed impossible to stand up normal...how silly :p

And lucky lucky me!! I got a really nice bikini as a gift from Superman's mum. I feel spoiled and it's not even my birthday. I really like its details and the colours. All I need now is a nice tan :)
