Living for the weekends !!

Gosh I have been looking forward to summer and now it is already August. I had a lovely weekend with Superman and the company of some friends who stayed over from Friday to Sunday. Good times! Can't believe it is soon weekend again.

So far this week I have enjoyed a really nice afternoon at the beach.

I love walking along the beach in the warm summer air and I would love to skip the winter and have Spring instead.

Weekends with nice coffee breaks in town :) I love the urban side of Superman..

SHOPPING!!!!

On Sunday we went for a walk around the Hoe and had a little cup-cake picnick on the way home.

Suddenly a big dark cloud were building up above us and luckily we just about managed to get inside our front door before we got caught in a heavy rainfall.

I quite enjoy those summer afternoons when the rain is drumming on the windows and I can wrap myself inside a blanket reading a magazine and my book and enjoy a nice cup of tea. Life!

Our nice teddies which Superman bought for me. I think they were meant to be a reflection of us. The respected baddie who loves some caring and smells of strawberries and the lion cub with the temper who wants to be the boss. Wonder which one I am?

Cornwall, St. Agnes

A Super keen Superman came to pick me up after work on Friday, hungry for some nature wild life and desperate for a surf we reached our destination only an hour later. I literally entered the camp side in my office pencil skirt and high heals and jumped into my scruffy but precious denim skirt and my camping hoodie. Weather has been lovely all weekend and it's still sunny and warm.

Superman got up at 5 o'clock in the morning to check out the surf and also snapped a few photos of the s☼nrise.

Had to have a photo with the lifeguard on the beach. So glad we knew him from Swansea when he used to study with Superman. Thank you Mr. Gifford for letting us know about the nice camp side, the beaches and the nice pub to go for Sunday lunch ☺ Nice to see you again!!!

Me doing some beach activity. However, next trip I'll definitely bring my body board and wetsuit for some real action. The sea is too nice to stay dry.

The Baywatch men ☺

My fantastic boyfriend ♥

Superman and me exploring the cliffs around the camp side. Such a nice evening and the view is amazing!

Superman is checking the map for some nice fishing spots and I am ready for bed. I was so tired every night. It crazy what a bit of fresh air and some exploring can do for my sleep even though there was a man next to our tent who snored really loud :p

The Sunday lunch pub. They had nice food here. I had vegetable frittata, yum!

Nice little shop next to the pub we had Sunday lunch. It's so nice down here. Really feel like we are abroad. Just so cool it's only 1 hour drive from our flat in Plymouth.

Been a brilliant weekend. Hope we'll have loads of more sunny camping days in Cornwall this summer ☼

Settled down now! :))))

In Plymouth now I finally settled. We have even got the internet installed. I can't believe it's already almost 2 weeks since I arrived. Things have just happened so fast and I could never have done all this without the support from both Superman's and my family. So very thankful.

I went to my local shop and bought my first basket of strawberries last week after work.Yum yum. The best snack to munch on whilst I sorted out some of the boxes in the flat.

We still need to get shelves for our 'library' so we r still living in boxes but hopefully we will sort this out within the next week.

Superman captured a few night view shots from our bedroom window.

Yesterday we got a new dinner table and when I came home from work today Superman had yet again made dinner ready and surprised me with a glass of red wine. It's Thursday but because of that I feel like it's weekend already. Love u Mike!

Bedroom is still a little bit messy. Superman can't stand the rail but I insist on keeping it till I get a proper closet. I can not stuff all my clothes into small shelves, any girl knows that ;)

And at last but not least, I got my own bathroom!!!!! I am so happy!! Superman also got a bathroom of his own and he got a bathtub in his so it's quite cool as well.

Packing down the flat..zzzzz

Yesterday was the day 2 start packing all our stuff ready to move. The rain kept pouring down and it was perfect to do such an indoor activity.

After an hour of sorting out paper work and puzzle a huge amount of books into boxes I had the earge for a break and cake.

I have always time for baking! And that also makes Superman happy :) This time Marble Cake.

Whip 150g melted butter and 150g sugar together. Then add 3 eggs and whip. Add 250g flour, 2ts baking powder, 2ts vanilla essence and stir till its smooth.

Add 2 fingers of milk into the mix as well. Then separate the mixture and pour 2/3 into a bread baking tin.

Add 2 spoons of cocoa powder, 2 spoons of sugar and 1 finger of milk into the 1/3 leftover of the mixture and stir till smooth.

Add the chocolate mix into the same baking tin and draw a fork through the mixture a couple of times to blend the colours. Mixture taste really nice I promise...

...only after baking the cake in the oven for round 30min 175 degrees it's tasting twice as good.

Colours of marble when it's cut? I am not so sure about that, but I think it looks alright though.

Then Superman had brought me the Sunday Times and I can not ask for a more brilliant break on a rainy sunday afternoon :)
