Film: Red Riding Hood

Just seen Red Riding Hood which I have been looking forward to since last year when I first saw the trailer on YouTube. I suppose for those who got a thing for ware wolves it is a film worth watching, but if you are looking for the thrilling excitement I would just stick to watching the trailer or maybe just make a sandwich in the dark.

I have to admit that I get easily scared when watching films, only in this film I found the most terrifying moment was when Red Riding Hood looked back in time, when she was a child and were about to slid a rabbit's throat with a knife.

Poor white little soft rabbit. Along with a lot of other random happenings in this film, I found this scene with the rabbit quite unnecessary for the plot of the story. The film makers also seemed to have a desperate need to put quotation and happenings from the original fairy tail, which just made me wanna cringe.
I am not so sure about the film makers achievement concerning the end of their version of this fairy tail, but surly they can not have thought this through.

Maybe it is time for Hollywood to give the Era of the Ware wolves a rest and give way to new ideas. Leave the vampires out as well, they have ruled the planet way too long now. Lol but I just have to see the last film of the Twilight Saga and then Full Stop!!!
