Baby's 1st cake!

My baby's first cake ever was made by Hanne, my amazing friend and partner in crime and her gorgeous little family. Baby loves the contents of nappies decorated with dummies with a pair of traxie bottoms on top.  Everything a little baby can dream of :) Yummy!

Baby has got loads of nice gifts and cards from friends and family after his arrival and he is obsessed with the bookshelf after we decorated it with all his cards. He loves all the colours it got and he watches it for ages.

Baby's 1st days

Now baby is 2 and a half weeks old and he has already grown a lot since he was born. We enjoy every second with him and he has become a strong little man and can hold his head up for a long time. 

 All his layers of clothes when we took him home from the hospital. February can be a really cold month up here so he needs to get wrapped up properly :)

In hospital before baby's first check up by the child doctor. He had his first blood test taken from his heel and he was asleep during the whole session, brave little man ;)

 It's amazing to wake up every morning and look at my little son knowing that I got to spend all my time with him. He is my everything <3 p="">

Arrival of little Lord 13/02/2013

Wednesday 13th February 2013 Little Cub was born and the last couple of weeks has been magic. Me and Mike have also realized how this endless love we got for our little son can be both so amazingly good but also stressful from worrying about him and that these feelings will remain and stay with us for the rest of our lives.

The last picture taken before baby was born whilst enjoying my breakfast in my pj's drinking tea and wondering when baby was going to arrive and how it will be like. He came 1 week earlier than my due date and he is the best thing that has happened to us :)

We arrived in the hospital after my contractions started around 8 o'clock in the evening and 3 hours later our son was born at 22.57pm, 3005gram and 49cm. He is just perfect! The feeling when they put him on my chest after the birth was extraordinary.

Mike did a great job supporting me throughout the birth and the midwifes were fantastic.

Whilst waiting for little Cub (Part 2)

The last weeks of pregnancy is a little bit nerve wrecking considering that anything can happen any day now. It has been really cold lately and in one way it is good that little cub is inside the warm belly although I can't wait to see him now. 

A short update from the past couple of weeks.

My biggest challenge is to keep away from falling over in the steep hills with my pregnant bump. I get a little bit of an adrenalin rush when it goes a little too fast :p 

Mike is adapting into the sporty Norwegian lifestyle so much better than me. I really feel that I get so easily tired now and if it was not for the drinks and chocolate  biscuit I would have given up half way :)
